5 years ago, Sasha got thirsty. Really, REALLY thirsty. And so, she began on a quest to quench that thirst, but every where she looked she was faced with the same problem; drinks, juices and smoothies
filled with artificial ingredients and excessive sugar- yuck! Realizing the serious need for a healthy and tasty snacking alternative,
she came up with 24 Carrots. iIn 2007 she was joined by her best friend and cousin, Shyam, who brought with him a wealth of business intuition
and a very discerning (ahem, picky) palate. Flash forward, 24 Carrots celebrated its grand opening on May 24th, 2008...and Sasha hasn't been thirsty since.

Music makes my day (pepper, sublime, black sabbath, etc..) and I am an avid movie buff! I hate veggies, but I'll eat them here (way to go Sasha). I work out a TON, so my go to drink has to be our Good Juju Protein Shake- come on in and I'll make one for you too!

Fresh out of California, I'm into tattoos (7 and counting!), movies (my absolute fave is "Face Off"), and underground hip-hop (Atmosphere, Emortal Technique, Gangstarr). I'm pretty new to the company so I haven't gotten to taste all of our drinks yet, but so far my favorite has to be the Pina Colada and now that its summer, I have it all the time :-)

I love ducks and picnics....and especially setting up picnics for the ducks that visit our store every day! I'm also the official 24 Carrots taste tester largely because I love to eat and Sasha loves feed me.
I'm currently a student of the culinary arts and hope to open my own vegetarian catering business someday! My favorite drinks are the Man-go-overboard and...well, everything else.

I've been with 24 Carrots now for almost a year! My favorite drinks have to be the Peachy Keene and the Mango Lemonade. Currently, I work here part time while I'm continuing to study to become an elementary teacher. I make KILLER yummy muffins which is strange cause there are days when I get zucchinis and cucumbers confused....:-O!

About the biodegradable containers we use
Our cups, lids, straws, and to-go boxes are made from cane sugar and corn, not plastic. Plastic can take up to a thousand years to degrade
so we took the more environmental route and buy our containers from Eco Products.
What does it mean if it is vegan or vegetarian?
"Vegetarian" at 24 Carrots means that it doesn't contain egg but may contain milk, yogurt, butter or cheese. Our Vegan options do not contain egg, dairy, and honey. Our entire menu is either vegetarian or vegan, and most of our vegetarian dishes, drinks, granola and muffins can be made vegan as well- so if you see something that strikes your fancy, please feel free to ask!
Where do you get your fruits and veggies?
24Carrots tries to buy as much as possible from local growers and suppliers, so several times a week we head to farmers markets to get our delicious fruits and veggies. Aside from there, we also source our ingredients from organic suppliers and growers all across the US and world (our mangoes are flown in from India and are AMAZING!).
